What matters most when choosing a waterproof push button switch is quality, because a waterproof push button switch is a switch that can be operated even with wet hands.
There are various waterproof push button switches on the market:
First of all, IP waterproof standard; the main evaluation standard for the waterproof performance of waterproof switches is based on IP waterproof grade standard.
Look at the waterproof performance of the waterproof switch. The first X is from 0 to 6, and the highest level is 6; the second X is from 0 to 8, and the highest level is 8; therefore, the highest waterproof level of the waterproof button switch is IP68.
Safe waterproofing system for waterproof push button switches:
1. Used to isolate power supply and disconnect high-voltage maintenance equipment from live equipment so that there is an obvious visible disconnect point between them.
2. The waterproof metal switch cooperates with the circuit breaker to perform switching operations according to the needs of the system operation mode to change the system operation wiring mode.
3. When operating the waterproof metal switch, please note that when the line is transmitting power, first close the waterproof metal switch on the bus side, then close the waterproof metal switch on the line side, and then close the circuit breaker.
When there is a power outage on the line, the circuit breaker should be turned off first, and then the waterproof metal switch should be opened. Do not pull or close the high-voltage waterproof metal switch with load.
4. Used to connect or disconnect small current circuits. The waterproof metal switch can perform the following operations: it can pull and close the bypass current of the closed-circuit switch; it can pull and close the ground wire of the neutral point of the transformer, but when the neutral point is connected to an arc suppression coil, it can only be operated when there is no fault in the system; it can pull and close the voltage transformer and lightning arresters; pull and combine the capacitive current of busbars and equipment directly connected to the busbar; pull and combine no-load lines with capacitive currents not exceeding 5 amps; triple waterproof metal switches can pull and combine loads with voltages of 10 kV and below and currents below 15 amps, etc.
